Current prices below are for seasoned firewood. Choose a face cord, half face cord or convenient firewood bundle. Green firewood may be available at a discounted price for customers stocking ahead. Delivery charges and optional stacking are separate where applicable.
CHERRY
Heat: Medium, roughly 20 million BTU per full cord when properly seasoned.
Characteristics: Steady burn, pleasant flame and a mild, slightly sweet wood aroma.
Best uses: Fireplaces, campfires, fire pits, wood stoves, shoulder-season heating and cooking.
OAK
Heat: High to very high, roughly 24 to 29 million BTU per full cord depending on oak species, density and moisture.
Characteristics: Dense, long-burning hardwood with an excellent coal bed and a mild, classic aroma.
Best uses: Home heating, long stove burns, fireplaces, campfires, fire pits, overnight coals and cooking.
SOFT MAPLE
Heat: Medium to moderate, around 18 to 19 million BTU per full cord for common soft maples.
Characteristics: Lights readily, produces quick useful heat and has a mild aroma with a touch of sweetness.
Best uses: Everyday fires, campfires, quick heat, fireplaces, fire pits, kindling and cooking.
MIXED HARDWOOD
Heat: Varies by the species included in the mix.
Characteristics: A practical blend of hardwoods with varied ignition, burn time and coal characteristics.
Best uses: Everyday home heating, campfires, fireplaces and fire pits when versatility and value matter more than a specific species.
CAMPFIRE WOOD
For the fire pit: Seasoned Michigan hardwood bundles sized for camping, cabins, campgrounds, bonfires and backyard fires.
Choose your burn: Mixed hardwood or soft maple for an easy, lively flame, cherry for a pleasant mild aroma, or oak for a longer steady burn and a strong coal bed.
Best uses: Campfires, fire pits, camping trips and quick weekend fires.
BTU figures are approximate heat-content ranges for air-dried wood. Actual performance varies with species, density, moisture content, appliance and burn conditions.
OAK FULL CORD SPECIAL
One full cord of seasoned oak firewood, delivered and stacked for $525 within 30 miles of Liberty Firewood in Clinton, Michigan.
Regular pricing is $480 for three face cords of oak plus $75 for standard stacking, for a total of $555. The package saves $30 compared with standard pricing.
Prices are subject to change. Delivery and stacking require reasonable truck and stacking access.

SMOKELESS FIRE PIT WOOD
The wood may simply be too long for the size of your pit. Standard firewood can crowd a compact burn chamber or sit too high, leaving less room for the airflow that helps a smokeless fire pit burn efficiently.
Liberty Firewood offers short-cut smokeless fire pit chunks for smaller fire pits and compact burn chambers. Properly seasoned, appropriately sized firewood can help the pit burn hotter, cleaner and with less visible smoke.
Great for patios, backyard smokeless fire pits, camping setups, cabins and smaller outdoor fire pits where standard-length firewood is just too long.

Ask About Fire Pit ChunksSmokeless fire pits depend on strong airflow around the fuel and through the upper secondary-burn area. Oversized pieces can crowd that space. Shorter chunks fit the chamber more naturally while still giving you real hardwood heat and flame.
Seasoned oak, cherry, soft maple and mixed hardwood options may be available.
GREEN VS. SEASONED FIREWOOD
Seasoned firewood has been dried so it is better suited for customers who plan to burn it now. We use a moisture meter to help check our seasoned wood.
Green firewood contains more moisture and needs additional drying time before efficient burning. When available, we may offer green firewood at a slight discount for customers who want to buy ahead, stack it properly and let it season for a future heating season.
Drying time varies by species, split size, airflow, weather and starting moisture, so we do not promise one exact seasoning time.
